How does it work?
Laser ablation uses catheters, ultrasounds, and lasers to help combat the effects of varicose veins. The first step is to insert a catheter into the affected area. Next, we use ultrasounds to help navigate the catheter through the vein. A laser at the end of the catheter then heats the vein walls to begin closing them off. This restricts blood flow through the vein, allowing it to shrink and fade.
